Step Up Savannah has created a short series of skills seminars, intended for all those in our community who have started a small nonprofit, or think they want to, with the idea of offering some baseline, and refresher professional development. Perrin Lance will be facilitating a session on July 16th about promoting your nonprofit’s mission through social media.
The sessions will help participants make decisions about whether/not to launch a nonprofit, what it takes to legally operate an organization; then, learn how to create a “team” charged to move the group’s mission and agenda forward, even if you don’t have total agreement on all points; and finally, the best use of social media, given your audience(s).
All sessions are free and open to the public; however, we need an RSVP. All sessions are scheduled for Saturday mornings, 10 a.m. – 12 noon at the United Way building, 428 Bull Street. Parking is free on Saturdays.
