Waters Avenue Phase II Streetscape Improvements Ribbon Cutting

The City of Savannah will hold a ribbon cutting to celebrate the completion of the streetscape improvements for Phase II of Waters Avenue. This is the portion of Waters Ave. from Wheaton Street on the North to Anderson Street on the South.
The majority of the project was completed with Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (SPLOST) funds at a cost of $1.8 Million. The project includes new sidewalk with brick banding, new stamped concrete crosswalks, ADA ramps, landscaping, decorative lighting and new striping for parking.
