[SAVANNAH, Ga] -- Bill Durrence, candidate for re-election for Savannah's Second District Alderman seat, has received three endorsements from local, regional and state organizations.
The Police Benevolent Association of Georgia has officially endorsed Durrence for District Two and will ask their members to cast ballots in his favor.
Also endorsing Durrence, the Savannah Regional Central Labor Council who will advocate for Durrence's re-election among their members as well as the Carpenter's Union who has officially endorsed.
Georgia Equality whose mission is to advance fairness, safety and opportunity for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender communities across the state, has also identified Durrence as their preferred candidate for Savannah's Second District.
Although the election is non-partisan, the Savannah Area Republican Women have offered their support as well.
Durrence who currently holds the Second District seat is up for re-election on Tuesday, November 5th. Early voting in the Savannah area is available through November 1st.
